Julien is a composer and pianist from Bordeaux, France. Over the last few years he has released an enormously popular series of albums, all titled Insight. The album Insight II, from which this piece Insight XX is taken, was named by The Quietus magazine as one of the best albums of 2016.
After a gorgeous, gently rocking opening, Insight XX opens out into one of the most captivating melodies this editor has ever heard – it's a proper ear-worm and an absolute joy to play.

I listen to this album all the time when I'm working or when I want to lay down and chill. I love the blend of piano, violin, and more modern beats and sounds. It's hard to pick a favorite track as I think the entire album is a whole experience, so I'd say start at the beginning with Melding and let the rest flow through you. iuliathe3rd
