It’s a genuine pleasure to be able to feature James Heather’ in Upright. Drawing on a fascinating mix of influences ranging from his childhood favourites Beethoven and Debussy to the structure and ambience of electronic music, James’ music is suffused with a tender melancholy that obviously has a massive appeal: his music has been streamed millions of times and has featured on many of the most popular Spotify playlists. Oizys is taken from debut EP, Modulations: EP I — it ebbs and flows, subsuming the player in a meditative state.
